These terms govern your use of MUPAY, a business management tool for content creators and freelancers. By creating an account or using MUPAY, you agree to these terms.
MUPAY helps you manage quotations, contracts, a content calendar, invoices, payments, and expenses for your own business. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter — MUPAY generates documents and calculations based on what you provide, and doesn't independently verify it.
You need an account to use MUPAY, created with a valid email address you verify. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract under Mauritian law to create an account.
Everything you enter into MUPAY — your clients, invoices, contracts, financial records — belongs to you. We don't claim ownership over your business data. How we handle it is covered in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for the accuracy of financial and tax-related information you enter. MUPAY is a record-keeping and document-generation tool, not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
You agree not to:
MUPAY may offer free and paid plans. Where a paid plan applies, pricing, billing frequency, and payment methods will be presented to you at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; MUPAY does not store your full card or banking details.
Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We aim to keep MUPAY available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. MUPAY runs on third-party infrastructure (Google Firebase), and outages on their end are outside our control. We'll do our best to communicate any planned downtime in advance.
You can stop using MUPAY and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or pose a security risk to MUPAY or other users. Where reasonably possible, we'll give notice first.
MUPAY is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by Mauritian law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MUPAY — including lost income, lost data, or business decisions made based on information generated by the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be excluded under Mauritian law.
We may update MUPAY's features or these terms as the product evolves. Material changes to these terms will be reflected here with an updated date. Continuing to use MUPAY after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. This document is provided in good faith to describe our terms clearly. It has not been reviewed by a licensed advocate, and isn't a substitute for independent legal advice.
